  • Life Membership: is available to all members of the Society at the cost of $1000.
  • Library and Archives Collection: The Society's collection includes published works, photographs, emphemera, clippings and other items that relate to the history of Lebanese settlement in Australia. It can be consulted by members, researchers and family historians - please contact the Secretary. The Society also accepts, subject to approval by the Board, items that add to the collection and which comply with its Collection Development Policy

  • Membership : Membership is open those of Lebanese descent, their families and those with an interest in the history of Lebanese settlement in Australia, upon approval of by the Board. Cost: Entrance Fee: $25, Annual Membeship Fee $25 ($50 for first year).
  • Membership Form: which you can fill in and print out.
  • Nomination Form : that can be used to nominate members for election to the Board of Directors is available here and can be printed out.
  • Newsletter : The Society produces are quarterly Newsletter which is posted to members. News and historical items and other matters of interest to members can be posted or emailed to the Society and will be considered for publication.
  • Objectives : of the Society broadly relate to the preservation of the records and promoting the study of the history Lebanese settlement in Australia. See the Objectives section of the Constitution for full details.
  • Oral History : The Society is undertaking an Oral History Program, and is especially interested in recording the memories of older members of the Lebanese Community in Australia. Contact the John Koorey who is the convenor of the Oral History Group of the Society.
  • Oral History Release Forms: If you are undertaking an oral history interview on behalf of the Society, you and the interviewee need to sign and lodge Release Forms that assign ownership and copyright ot the Society. These forms are available here and can be printed out.
